  1. Before using for the first time, charge both devices fully on the Reset IQ™ charging docks. An initial full charge extends the long-term battery life.
  2. Apply one or two drops of the included lubricating oil to the blades before each work session and at the end of the day. The blades will thank you, and so will the motor.
  3. Use the clipper for bulk removal and fades, with speed control between 6500 and 8200 RPM depending on the hair texture. For coarser or curly hair, the high-speed mode is the starting point.
  4. Switch to the trimmer for finishing touches, lines, and precision details. The 42mm near-zero gap blade was specifically designed for this part of the cut.
  5. At the end of the day, clean the blades with the included brush, apply oil, and place both devices on the charging docks. This way, they will be ready for the next day, with no surprises.
  6. Use the trimmer's EZ-Gap adjustment tool regularly to check the blade alignment. A misaligned blade compromises the finish and wears out the equipment unnecessarily.
